Lil' Stars Camp
The Minnesota Southeast Stars will conduct a basketball camp for K-3 for the 2027 season. Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 camp and had a great game to finish off classes!
The K-3 program focuses on fundamentals: passing, dribbling, defense, shooting, teamwork, and proper footwork.
We want to see young players eager to learn and improve in the game of basketball! Please register your child for a experience they won’t forget.

Practices will be at the Waseca High School in Waseca

You can pay for camp at the first practice. We offer PayPal and Venmo as a payment option, or feel free to pay by check or cash in person. If you register online, please fill out the registration form about your player.

WHAT IS THE LIL’ STARS CAMP?
Program Summary
The Lil’ Stars Camp is a way to introduce you and your player to our program, directors and coaches, and give the kids a chance to play hard, learn some new skills, and have a lot of fun with kids their own age. We feel that fundamentals in basketball are so important and great for kids to get started on as soon as they show interest in basketball, so why not let them come out and enjoy some good practice time at the gym with the Stars?

Once a Week Practice
We schedule our classes according to local gym availability, so each year might be a different school location or slightly different times. We post the information for the upcoming camp weeks before the first day so you have plenty of time to register, pay, and get your player ready for fun!
Jersey Information
Game Jerseys
Our last class is “game day”, where we have the kids split up into teams and they play real game formations with lowered baskets for their appropriate size. The Minnesota Southeast Stars uniforms might be a little large on our little ones, but they love getting the chance to don any of our three different styles of jerseys and playing their hearts out!
Want to Join Our Camp?
Lil’ Stars Camp is a yearly event, with once-weekly classes ending with a “game” for our kids ages pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade. Would you like to see us hold the camp another time during the year? Let us know! Sign up happens online on our registration page, or you can sign your child up on the first day of camp. We break up the classes into pre-K through 1st graders for the first session, and 2nd and 3rd graders for the second to give each child more attention and play with kids their size and ability. It’s a wonderful fun time for kids and coaches alike! Feel free to come watch or drop off and pick up at the end of class. We hold our AAU practices right after Lil’ Stars Camp classes so we are available to speak with you about your child or any questions you might have before or after class.
